With a career spanning over four decades, Jack Fhillips is a true statesman of american interior design. Known for his refined eye, layered sensibility, and deeply personal approach to each project, Jack has earned a reputation as a trusted tastemaker among generations of discerning clients.
Jack began his design journey in the early 1970s, quickly distinguishing himself with a style that blended classical foundations with a modern point of view. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University majoring in Historic Preservation and Design, and is among the first designers to be licensed by the state of Florida. Over the years, his work has graced everything from Grand Palm Beach estates and historic Manhattan residences to relaxed coastal retreats and contemporary urban apartments. With a gift for design and a keen understanding for space, he imagines and creates bespoke furniture that feels destined for the room leaving the client with a truly one of a kind piece that is personal and timeless.

Throughout this career, Jack has participated in prestigious design showcases and has been featured in publications including—Veranda, Architectural Digest, and House Beautiful. But perhaps his greatest legacy lies in the enduring relationships he has built with clients, many of whom return for multiple homes and refer across generations.
Mr. Fhillips has been continuously requested for and has participated in Design Show Houses from Connecticut to New York City to Beverly Hills, CA., to High Point, NC., to Vero Beach, Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
He is engaged in many philanthropic causes such as the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, PBS/NPR, Habitat for Humanity, and Feeding South Florida. However, his true passion lies in the rescue and protection of animals through support of The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, Pilots to the Rescue, Best Friends Animal Society, ASPCA, World Wildlife Fund and many other such charities.
Whether sourcing antique textiles, customizing furniture, or collaborating with architects, he approaches each detail with care and a curator's eye. This is a shared collaborative experience for client & designer.
